Rhythm is as old as humanity. Everyone has it. When you see a drum, you want to hit it. Don’t hold back, because in this workshop, all inhibitions are off. In the drum circle, everyone is equal.

What does the Percussion workshop include?

The workshop can be offered at various locations including Scheveningen, Wassenaar, Kijkduin, and Hoek van Holland. We use djembes to get into a groove together. We communicate through the drums. Improvisation, intuition, connection, creativity, and communication are central. The workshop consists of both a theoretical and a practical part. You’ll learn about the instrument itself, but more importantly, how to play it. We explain how to strike the drum and the different sounds you can make.
